We’re so excited for our 6th annual Gala & Auction - Puttin' on the Ritz on February 5, 2022 which will be held downtown at The Mayo Hotel beginning at 6 p.m.
Regent Preparatory School's annual dinner auction is the only school-wide fundraising event of the year. The funds raised from this event help to cover the gap between what families pay in tuition and the actual cost to educate students. Any monies above and beyond what is needed to balance the school's operating budget are then used to further enhance the programs and classical Christian educational experience at Regent.
While 94% of Regent's annual operating budget of $4.93 million dollars is covered by tuition, that final 6% must still be raised through various means including our only school-wide fundraising event of the year — the Gala & Auction.
A few of the specific areas benefited each year from this annual event include classroom curriculum, technology updates, special events (such as Grandparents' Day and Commencement), need-based tuition assistance, maintenance and improvement of facilities, plus funding for Regent's fine arts, athletics and academic programs.
